Ray, this is probably the most discussed topic here in
recent times. I assume that when you say Tweak, you mean TweakUI.A recent Windows
Critical Update negated the hack that TweakUI performs. You can be assured that removing
the registry entries was what fixed your annoyance, not re-running TweakUI. (let's
face it, it's not a problem, it's merely an annoyance to some, and a pretty trivial
one at that) Possibly there was a reboot somewhere in the sequence of events that
you didn't take into account. That entire article needs to be updated because of
this, but I'll be surprised if that happens - they're probably too busy with XP annoyances.
