Your praise is very much appreciated. I hasten to point out, though, that
if I might be regarded as some kind of angel, there are archangels out
there who don't just sort of help when it's easy, but make the world turn
as it should.
As an example, I'm working on publishing large documents
using a markup language called DOCBOOK, analogous to HTML, but for
creating printed and electronic publications instead of just static web
pages. I'm reading a 90-page manual by a guy named Markus Hoenicka
describing exactly how to do it in windows. It's an incredible piece of
work, it's free for the downloading and, as far as I know, he was never
paid a cent for it.
Consider contributors on the scale of Donald Knuth, Linus Torvalds,
Larry Wall, Tim O'Reilly - these people make Gates look like the devil
incarnate.
Although your praise for my helpful little suggestions makes me blush
a little, it's appreciation that encourages me to come back to help
again. Kudos to you for responding.
