In our environment we logon to an NT domain using Microsoft Networking Client on
our Win98 machines. For some reason when we switched a mixed Netware/NT to an exclusively
NT domain network I began to get both the Windows logon window and the MS Networking
logon window. What finally solved it was to change the settings for User Authentication/Logon
in IE 6 Options-Security tab to "Prompt for User Name and Password"
None of the remedies listed above worked.
