when explorer crashes, and you lose the desktop and taskbar....
if you have got any programs running (like media player or notepad etc...),
1.) go to file/open/
2.) choose a file to open by pressing shift and right clicking ,(any file, eg. a
text file), and select "OPEN WITH"
3.) choose explorer from the list. Explorer should now load back up.
this usually works for me.
