Hi, I don't have an Automatic Windows Update in my Windows 98? I believe it's available as a download from Windows Update - is that what you've done?

There isn't an option in Control Panel to turn it off by any chance like there is in Windows Me? or a removal option in Add/Remove Programs?

If not you may have to go back to Windows Update and get it to show you your installed updates and see if there's an option to remove it there.
