Lance,
Ok, here we go. There are two "official" locations for programs to post their startup
parameters in the registry. They are keys HKCU and HKLM. Under these keys you have
to go to software\microsoft\windows\currentversion and there you will find "Run"
and "RunOnce" folders. There is also a "RunServices" and maybe a "RunServicesOnce"
folder in key HKLM. In these folders you will find the startup listings and you
can do with them what you will. You may also find at these same locations "Run-",
"Run_disabled", RunServices-", etc. These are where diabled startups are stored.
If these registry entries still don't get you where you want to go, then you may
have to do a search in the registry using the startup parameters of the program in
question. If you have older software, the startup params may be in the system.ini
or windows.ini files. Hope this helps. Let me know if it doesn't and we'll probe
deeper.
