Delete these registry keys, or all values under these keys if you just like to waste
time (it is much quicker just to delete the keys):
Hkey_users\default\software\microsoft\windows\current version\explorer\streamMRU
and
Hkey_users\default\software\microsoft\windows\current version\explorer\streams
no adverse effects will be noted, and no more invalid page fault caused by explorer
in module shell32.dll.
This problem has nothing to do with Compaq or burn it, it can happen to any machine
running 98, or 98SE .
