... and use the DEFRAG.EXE from ME which is ten times faster than defrag.exe from
'98. You can use PowerDefrag from www.e-technik.com (after you install DEFRAG.EXE
from ME) and if you don't have a Windows password (disable if you do) you just click
on the PowerDefrag Icon and the program will defrag the disk for you at the optimum
setting. (In the same conditions as ScanDisk does after a bad shutdown) For $20
PowerDefrag will run ScanDisk like this too. Try cleaning your registry with RegCleaner
4.3 from www.jv16.org and everything WILL run a LOT smoother. Iain.
