JmC, Thanks for your reply. System and cpu fans are working, Since Compaq wants $100 for a power suppy, I picked up a remanufactured "clone" (Compaq 5724) instead for $200. Since I already had the HD imaged, it was easy to clone the HD as well. So Now I have a lot of spare components between the two. It is interesting that the 5724 has a second system fan. Maybe Compaq learned from its errors?
