Hi Leah,

From what I've discovered so far, 'RNADMIN' is a piece of spyware related to Real
Player. It seems to install with the Real Player Gold (Real Player V9.0) version.
This problem your experiencing initiates after MS updates, or can occur after
uninstalling Real Player. It has a trick file extension so that Ad-Ware software
won't detect it.

First click START, move to 'FIND' and then select 'FILES or FOLDERS'. In the
'Named' box, type 'RNADMIN', be sure the 'Look in:' box is set at your C: drive and
press enter. If the file is found, it will be in the C:\Windows\Application Data\Real
directory. Now close the Find files window. If the file was found then proceed.

Now click START, move to 'Settings' and click the 'Taskbar & Start Menu' selection.
Then click the 'Start Menu Programs' tab and then the 'Remove' button. Now drill
down to the 'Startup' entry and double click it. If there is an instance of 'RNADMIN'
listed, click it once to highlight it and then click the 'Remove' button. Then click
'Close' and 'OK' at the next window. If it isn't listed, click the 'Close' button
and then 'Cancel'.

Next click START\RUN, type 'MSCONFIG' in the 'Open' box and press enter. When the
'System Configuration Utility' appears, click the 'Startup' tab. Look for any instance
of 'RNADMIN' and uncheck the selection. Next click 'Apply', then 'OK' and
reboot when prompted.

Now try for a normal shutdown. If the shutdown process operates normal now, you
can do the find file option again, right click the 'RNADMIN' file and select 'Delete'
from the menu. This shouldn't effect the operation of Real Player, but if it does,
remove it with Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and reinstall it.

ps: Here's a cute story regarding this problem: RNAdmin
