I did a similar hook up but just XP and 98SE. XP is fine (once I added another MAC address to the ISP). But the 98 configured using the setup disc from the XP doesn't seem to have worked. I keep getting 'cant find server' messages even when I use the routers address 192.168.1.1 (on the XP this gets me straight to the router setup program).
