Luckily, I searched through alot of software that would help me fix this problem and I finally founed the one I was looking for. I went to www.moosoft.com and downloaded a program called "The Cleaner." When I ran this program it detected a virus called palukka on my comp. Seconds after it cleared that virus and I never had any problems with the windows socket error popup message thereafter.
