Tuxedo Jack: just a couple of suggestions:
try the Gen v1.70 emulator, available at the link below after your text.
check the entries in your autoexec.bat and config.sys files.
ensure the autoexec.bat file includes the following:
TEMP=C:\TEMP
if exist C:\TEMP\*.* echo y | del c:\temp\*.*
this will clear out your temp files each time you reboot.
