Thanks; I'm not using a firewall - its just plain windows with the default stuff it installs when it detects a network card. (TCP/IP protocol, etc) and file sharing enabled. I forgot to mention that I did test all the hardware; swapped ports on the hub, swapped cables. It all points to Justin's computer. I didn't try swapping NICs... I don't want to have to test that yet.
