When you run MSCONFIG from the RUN command on the START button menu, you can click on the STARTUP tab to see all the programs that are set to run at startup. If you look at the path listed for the application, you can determine what a lot of them are. One that I particularly hate (and it likes to put itself back periodically) is the calendar reminder feature from MS Outlook. -->Tim
