I was having the same problem with the low memory message and found my way to this forum. I downloaded RegCleaner and began to "clean." I thought I stayed in bounds but now my shortcuts don't work. I get this message: "Access to the specified, device, path or file is denied." When I right-click the icon I don't get the usual "open" option. Did I do this to myself with RegCleaner. The only other thing I did was to run SpyBot, click every box it revealed and had it "fix" all checked. (But, I've had SpyBot for a while and have not had any problems with it.) Which is why I suspect my registry antics. (I removed all the unknown entries under one of the tabs) Was that wrong? Thanks in advance, Rob
