Problem with windows starting up Sunday, November 3, 2002 at 9:30 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Pete (1 messages posted) I inadvetently deleted some files, now every time I start windows, I get the message "cant find file dfs.vxd Pressing any key continues start up ok. I have tried reinstalling windows 98 , but no joy, do I need to reformat HD (I am reluctant to do) Anybody got any ideas how to cure.
