My Lord! Someone with an intelligent answer to the Defrag question. Just reboot your system using Safe Mode. Don't "CTRL-ALT-DEL" runarounds. They never (or nearly never) do an adequate job. Just run Windows in SAFE MODE (usually by pressing F8 during bootup) and then run Defrag in this mode. When it's done, reboot again and run Windows in normal mode. There are some real idiots giving bad advice out there.
