rebootbill,
You do good work.....but I do not believe there is any
UNDELETE with Windows 98. And certainly not in DOS
with a FAT32 system. I do believe the last DOS
UNDELETE was in ver 6.22.
Sel,
If you have booted your computer and have used it,
you may never recover deleted files. The area they
occupy will possibly have been written to. Make a list
of the files that are missing. That way you can
compare it to what this program finds. Download this
program onto a floppy - if you can do it with another
computer, so much the better. The the program is
rather easy to use. It will suggest that you recover
the files and place them on another drive. Hopefully,
you can do that. Because as they are recovered, if
you keep them on the same drive, they may overwrite
the area where another erased file resides. It is going
to be tricky at best. Program is freeware. Even if you
are not successful this time, put the program on your
hard drive for next time. Good luck.

Another idea, you may be able to run System File
Checker and have it place new copies of the files from
your CD. START >RUN type: SFC
Don't leave us sitting on the edge of our seats, post
back with the results.
