restored previous day's registry..now what Sunday, December 1, 2002 at 9:24 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Joe Lyons (2 messages posted) Hello - I fixed a start-up problem that I had by going into safe mode and then restoring the previous day's registry, but I'm still getting the screen that you get when you are in safe mode at start-up. (Black, doslike screen with 6 options.) I select option #1in that screen (normal) - and eveything works fine after that. My question is, how do I stop that screen from coming up at each start up? Except for seeing that screen, everything appears to be working fine - I think I just down loaded some bad freeware.
