You can either edit the registry changes you made with Regedit, or restore the registry.
This would be the easiest:
- Boot, press and hold the 'CTRL' key to enter the boot menu. Select the 'COMMAND
PROMPT ONLY' option and press enter.
- At the C:\> prompt, type 'SCANREG /RESTORE' and press enter.
- When the screen appears select a backup with a date before this problem occurred.
Finish out the backup process and then reboot.
