Hey guys, hope someone can help me with this problem of mine. I've been getting constant CRC and IO errors in all the installation and zip files on my hard drive. This is typically the case with files over five megabytes. Both files which are already on the hard disk and files which I download are corrupted. I've already reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled windows and all that (when I did so, after restarting a couple of times I received a registry error) and yet the problem has persisted with new files which I've downloaded. I know it's not my ISP, as I've already contacted them. I'm beginning to think the problem is with a bad stack of ram, but before I go into major overhaul mode I was wondering if any more experienced people have some ideas? Is it a problem with windows perchance? I'm at my wits end here. Thanks for your help.
