Hi Amy, actually there's another way to disable scandisk after bad shutdown rather than using TweakUI. First, use the run command in the start menu, then, type msconfig. It will then load up 'system configuration Utility'. Then click on 'advanced...' and check the box 'Disable Scandisk after bad shutdown' . I' hope this will help.
