Thank you Ron for replying. There is only one problem I have, I do not know the manufactor of my drive. It is not listed in my computer. And my user guide has not name either. All I know is that it is a generic brand. I will have to go and buy a cleaner and try that. If it does not help.....I guess it is time to buy a new one. Thank you once again.
