The file explorer.exe is always running while windows is running. It is part of the
OS. Which also means, the file is in use/locked.... Heres what you can do...:
SaveAs the file to another location...e.g A:\explorer.exe
If you can't SaveAs, copy the file explorer.exe to another location first and then
edit the file there...
After you have doen your stuff, restart your computer in MS-DOS mode. Then, copy
your edited file to the place where you found the explorer.exe...(original). Remember
to backup first in case you did something wrong to the explorer.exe file. Then, after
you've finished, enter exit. Your windows will now load. If everything is OK, you
will see the changes you have made provided the windows still starts properly...HAHAHA..
Thats it! Use your knowledge of DOS commands dude! Good Luck!
