There is a problem with your display settings. The adapter type
is incorrect, or the current settings do not work with your hardware.
It is a problem with the display drivers. I suggest you check in Device Manager if
there are any duplicates present. If there are any conflicts, I suggest you remove
them by following these steps:
1. Press F8 during Startup to access the Startup menu. Ignore any error messages
that occur.
2. Choose Safe Mode from the Startup menu and press Enter.
3. Right-click My Computer icon on the Desktop.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click Device Manager. This would list the devices.
6. Check if there are any duplicates or for any confilcts.
7. Click on the Device and Click Remove.
8. Click OK.
9. Restart the system.
Follow these steps to remove the duplicates for all the devices. If there is an Others
category in the list, remove it.
If the resolution does not change even after performing the above steps, follow these
steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
2. Click the General tab, and then click Advanced.
3. Click to uncheck the checkbox VGA 640x480x16, click OK, and then click OK.
4. Restart your computer
