Thanks for the info. I just noticed the RNAdmin error and nearly broke down that
my computer wasn't working just "out of the blue" and was considering calling my
extended warranty place but it's x-mas day and i knew no one would be there. And
great! because i'm sure they would have told me to restore the who c drive which
would be aweful. Espically since all your advice (combined) told me where to look.
I have no idea why real one (the free version) started messing up now because I haven't
done anything with it or downloaded it recently but it only just started. Well anyway
I had none of the files such as "RNADMIN" "rnsystem.dat", (oh yeah, I have Windows
XP) but when I looked at "MSCONFIG" I found a file under c:\Program Files\Common
Files\Real\Update_OB named "evntsvc" and I unchecked it, restarted my computer and
everything worked great! I just hope it keeps working. I surpose I should also delete
this file also. Anyway THANKS for the help and I hope this helps others who are having
this truly annoying problem!
