We are having the same problem with not being able to display 256 colors, only having
the 2-bit and 16 bit option. Everything was fine until my husband installed a video
card that didn't work on our computer. We reinstalled the drivers but that didn't
work so just uninstalled the whole video card and took it back to the store. We set
the settings back to the old video card but are having the same problem with having
no 256 color option. I looked in the Win.ini file but not sure where the problem
would be.
Please help.
