Uninstall Norton System Works except for the anti-virus program. By that, I mean
do not automatically start System Works programs at startup. And if you are not
connected to Internet, even try shutting down the anti-virus and run the laptop for
several hours to see if there is a difference. My suspicion is that there is a problem
with the way System Works handles memory and eventually it "clogs up" - that is freezes
teh computer.
