Have you done an fdisk to check on the status of your partition? Boot to the a:\
prompt with the boot floppy and then enter:fdisk and the press enter. Take option
4, to see information on your hard drive. Make sure it is listed as an Active partition.
If not, go back to the menu and make it active. Also, make sure it is listed as a
dos partition and not a non-dos partition. If it is listed as active and dos partition,
you might have a problem. Exit the fdisk and at the a:\ prompt, enter: sys /c and
press enter. Does anything happen? Let me know what info fdisk provides you concerning
the hard drive.
Good luck!
