Question about 'Get Rid of the Logon Screen'

I actually have opposite the question that is asked here.
My Dad reformatted a computer and when I did everything I knew was correct to be
ready to network, the Microsoft Networking Password screen doesn't pop-up when I
start the computer at all... Just the Windows Password screen. I have Client for
Microsoft Networking set in the Networking applet. Is there any thing I over looked.
(Windows 98), using Wireless LAN to connect to computers.
