Dear Dale,
Thank you for letting us know about this useful but--in my opinion--hidden resource,
namely the "Win98 Resource Toolkit".
I tried (briefly; I have a very short attention span) to use the Quicktray item,
and accessed its help menu for instruction, but I don't see how to use it to get
rid of tray icons. The specific one I want to get rid of is the "Task Scheduler"
icon. I need Task Scheduler to continue running in the background so that Norton
Antivirus' auto-updater will function, but I don't want yet another unsightly icon
in my system tray. Can you help? Thank you.
