Question about 'Customize the Start Menu Button' Sunday, January 19, 2003 at 3:58 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Per Eriksson (4 messages posted) I have a question about Customize the Start Menu Button: When I had done everything in the explorer.exe file i made a backup and then tryed to replace the original with my modiefied, but when I did so windows said(translated from swedish) : "It is impossible to replace explorer: the file is used by windows." I have the same problems with HID.DLL file that cause problems with my games. I have a Packard Bell if that helps out with an answer.
