I was looking through Microsoft's site for problems with shutdown on ME. Microsoft
is usually blaming either USB devices, external storage devices, or incorrect driver
info. If you have USB devices plugged in, unplug them before shutdown. If you have
recently updated or installed drivers, check into that and make sure all's well there.
I don't know if this info will help anyone or not. But it is some info.
