Dino: the read-only attribute protects your system files, but you can turn it off
so that you can make changes;
at the DOS prompt, type: attrib -r -h c:\msdos.sys
and press the Enter key.
where r = read only
and h = hidden
and note the spacing.
later, when the changes are made, restore the protection:
type: attrib +r +h c:\msdos.sys
and press the Enter key.
