I have a question about How do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?:

I have removed ICQ from the start up menu but am unable to find MSN Messenger. They both drag up the internet connection window, and both load up upon conecting to the internet which is annoying for everyone else using the computer. I want to use these applications but only when I open them. How can I go about this?
