While Initializing device NDIS: Windows protection error Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 10:34 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by George (1 messages posted) I just got a Asus P4T-E motherboard with an Intel Pentium 4 2200 Mhz CPU I am using my old hard drive with Windows 98 on it. When it boots up I get the message: "While Initializing device NDIS: Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer." When I restart it just comes back to the same error. I read somewhere that I need a later version of the Ndis.vxd file. It should be a least Version 4.10.0.2000 and the size should be 157,909. I can not find it on the Microsoft site. Can anyone supply me with this file?
