Try two things...  First, reboot and start windows in safe mode by pressing the F6 
key repeatedly just as the first screen you see flips to the next screen. You may 
have to try this several times to get the timing right.
Once you're in windows (in safe mode), right click on the "My Computer" icon and 
choose "Properties". Next choose "Device Manager". Go down the list and click on 
the "+" sign next to "Display Adapter". You may see your video card listed there. 
Write down the name and then right click on it and choose "Remove". Now reboot and 
if Win98 doesn't automatically install it, you now know what card to look for.

If that doesn't work then you may need to open up the computer and pull out the card. 
Look carefully for any names and numbers that look familiar, then go by that name 
and number when you try to install the correct driver.  If your video card is built 
into your motherboard this step may not be of much help.
