I know this is an old dead thread, but I foudn the correct answer to this question
today.
The OEM flash screen is in the MSCONFIG. Click "Start-Run" and type MSCONFIG. Under
the system.ini tab, expand the bott menu by clicking the + sign. Remove the checkmark
beside the entry oemfonts.fon=vgaoem.fon
Be sure to click apply, then reboot when prompted. No more OEM splash screen!
And no BIOS change either! :eek:
