THANKS A BUNCH, MICK! (And to you, John, for bringing this up.)
I had exactly the same problem for over a year, only with Norton Antivirus 2001.
When I tried to uninstall it, it didn't work - and BTW, for some strange reason,
more than 100 MB of my disk space (DRVSPACE - I compressed my C disk) seem to have
vanished, even after I had uninstalled all the mian components of that Norton trash.
(Any ideas on how could I get my disk space back..?)
I've removed all the "hidden" files that remained in my PC after uninstalling NAV,
but this one kept bugging me.
Thanks again, Mick!
And what you say about Grisoft is also true. I've been using it for a few months
now, and couldn't be happier. I only wish I had installed it instead of falling for
Norton propaganda..!
Best wishes,
A.
