Having used Norton for 5+years, I have to say it has been a good product for me and
has not caused any shutdowns or disasters. Unfortunately software is not perfect,
nor are the operating systems. Different combinations of software packages, and
different users, can create nightmares for some and pleasant dreams for others.
It could be far better, but very few of us are prepared to pay the price that would
be demanded for perfect products.
