I finally got Windows Update to work again a few weeks ago, after an install of IE 6.0 2 years ago broke it, and then,what happens but the horrid arrows on all my icons. So I followed the brilliant Registry fix here and was thrilled at the visual results. However, I've found that the few Desktop keyboard shortcuts I had, e.g. for Eudora, NetTerm, my DOS calc.exe program, no longer work. Is there a way to fix this? How can I make new keyboard shortcuts for these programs and not see horrible little arrows? Or must I resign myself.
