Just my opinion............
- These hidden files are files type AVG (antivirus)Update, but were created
in '98. How can this be?
*I don't think so......AVG may have detected them as a problem. Shut down AVG while
deleting!
- Will deleting these hose my AVG?
*Nope!
- Is it possible to have compressed files with dspace having never used this
tool?
*Compressed files yes, but created within another format or program.
- Is there a measurable advantage to removing these files with 256M ram on w98
4.10 system?
*Yep, as the article you referred to mentions, but probably will not be noticeable.
