Often I think in terms of DOS rather
than strictly Windows.
In a Dos window, I get:
C:\FORMAT C:
WARNING, ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE
DISK
DRIVE C: WILL BE LOST!
PROCEED WITH FORMAT (Y/N)?
So, you are making a distinction
