That puts a different light on the subject. It could very well be spyware application
that installed. That's caused this same problem for a lot of other people. Repairing
I.E. isn't what you need then.
Is the start menu ALL that you can access then? If so, do you have Spybot Search
and Destroy or Ad-Aware 6.0 installed? Run one of those programs, if you have one.
You should be able to run one of those spyware removal programs, by using Find -
Files or Folders and searching for it there.
First go into the Control Panel - Start - Settings -Ctrl. Panel. Check in Add/Remove
programs for a suspicious program and uninstall it, if you notice one. Let me know
where you're at there. You may be able to go online by accessing your connection
icon, if you need to.
