I wasn't sure how savvy you are. In fact, I don't feel very savvy at the moment.
You may not be able to access any folders, the way it sounds. I just thought it
was worth a try.
What I meant was in Find - Files - type: Program files. Click find now. Scroll down
to the one in C:\ and double click the folder to see if it will even open. Then check
whether there's a program you don't recognize.
I don't know what to think to be honest. The only thing I can think of is trying
to replace Explorer.exe. Getting bad command when you try to restore a registry backup
is too strange.
I'll have to ponder this a bit.
