I'd forgotten that you said you're on a network. If you have access to your data
on the problem computer, can you back up all your personal data? I don't see any
way to recover, if you can't access your registry backups.
I may be wrong, but I think you're going to need to format and reinstall. I originally
thought maybe replacing Explorer would work, but if your registry is that corrupt,
even reinstalling over the top won't help. That's my thought at the moment.
Btw, you said this was from MS site?
