SUZETTE,

I take it that your D: drive is your cdrom drive?
If it just disapeared and Windows can't find it, you may
have one of several problems. Motherboard, bios,
loose connections or even a bad drive (among
others). Loose connections can be checked easily
enough and if your comfortable, you can remove your
cd drive and take it in for testing. That's a start but I'm
sure there will be more suggestions.

Brian
