Pulled the modem out, and put the NIC in it's PCI slot. So far, it seems to be working. Haven't had a chance to test it out fully, for long connect times, and as sleep and work have interfered in play time ;) but at least the weekend is coming. It hasn't disconnected on its own, yet. I don't think I needed to pull the modem, and maybe later, I'll put it back in just to see. No conflicts were ever reported, but I was desperate. Sometimes, Carol, ya just gotta take the cover off.
