That's surely your problem Sarah. Rather than use MSCONFIG, download and run
StartMan.
Then you'll need to look over the startup listing to determine what it might be.
If you're not sure about an entry, you can right click it and select 'Identify' for
detailed information. If you need help with the listing, click 'File' on the toolbar
and then 'Save as Text..'. It will generate a startup list that you can copy and
paste here in a reply.
If you do, be sure to check the box....'Check this box to preserve your spacing'
in your reply.
